(1)Amazon Alexa :

Automatic setup via Home Assistant Cloud

With Home Assistant Cloud, you can connect your Home Assistant instance in a few simple clicks to Amazon Alexa. With Home Assistant Cloud, you don’t have to deal with dynamic DNS, SSL certificates, or opening ports on your router. 2. Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things

The Internet of Things is about connecting devices. An extensive network of devices with embedded sensors that collect and transfer data. For example, a Bluetooth enabled wearable device measures heart rate and sent it to a smartphone or a server over the internet. Billions of connected devices generate vast amounts of data every moment. This large amount of unstructured data generated by IoT devices called Big data.

Data is valuable when one can extract process behavior, and patterns then make the right decision in a proper time and create an action; otherwise, it is a waste of time and resources. Traditional methods of processing structured data are not designed expertly for IoT generated unstructured real-time Bigdata.

Artificial Intelligence is a technology of mimicking human intelligence in a computer system or machine. AI is machines ability to learn from previews experience and teach itself new skills and behaviors. Using AI, computers can be trained to perform specific tasks by processing Bigdata and recognizing patterns in data.

The Internet of Things facilitates device connection and produces a large amount of data about the desired process. Artificial Intelligence analyzes data collected by IoT enabled devices and extract patterns and process behaviors then make a decision based on those patterns. These technologies, along together, can solve real-world problems and create new products. For example, using only IoT, we have connected cars. Using AI along with IoT, we have self-driving cars.

3. Touchless Tech

  • Touchless technology is a branch of gesture control allowing users to control computers without any form of physical input.
  • Modern no-touch technologies are key to keeping employees and visitors safe within any workplace environment.
  • We expect this to take the form of switching from shared to personal devices and the use of voice and gesture-controlled computers.
  • Longer-term this technology will continue to evolve giving facility managers and building inhabitants greater safety from illnesses.

4. High-Speed Connection

internet speed test

Check your internet speed in less than 30 seconds. The speed test usually results in less than 40MB of data transfer, but faster connections can transfer more data.

For testing, you will be connected to Measurement Lab (M-Lab) and your IP address will be shared with them after which they will prepare the same according to their privacy policy . M-Lab does the research and publicly publishes all test results to promote Internet research. Published information includes your IP address and test results, but does not include any other information about you as an Internet user.

US regulators have set the standard for high-speed Internet as services that offer download speeds of 25 Mbps or faster . According to this definition, high-speed Internet may be provided by DSL, cable, satellite, wireless or fiber-optic technology.

 5. Privacy Features

Smart home tech has faced issues with data breaches and security hacks. To remain relevant to savvy consumers today, companies are advancing features to ensure users of these devices that their info and their private lives inside their homes are safe.
